HawaiiNow does not rewrite original news articles. Factual corrections to reporting belong with the newsroom that published the story.

Original articles

If you believe an article linked from HawaiiNow contains an error, contact Maui Now, Big Island Now or Kauaʻi Now — whichever site published it. Once that newsroom updates the article, HawaiiNow’s headline, excerpt and link will reflect the source on the next refresh.

Automated briefs

Statewide and topic briefs are generated from partner headlines and excerpts. They are labeled as automated. If a brief misstates what the source articles say, email editor@hawaiinow.com with the brief time and the source URLs. We will regenerate or remove the brief as needed.
